This is based on Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper, in a kinda crazy way.
I wanted to make a point about religion, the confusion as the whether God exists, and a point about political issues (fast food and smoking, amongst others)
I love painting this because it's so random, and the textures were great to do.
It was for a final piece of a project dedicated to modernising traditional artwork.
I only had two models for photos (big thanks to Mike and Daz) so the figures are all the same people. I think this adds to the surreal-ness in parts.
It's acrylic paint on a home-made canvas (with bed sheets instead of canvas used as the material). The dimensions are about 0.5x1.5 metres.
Larger photos of the separate sections can be seen in my scraps. I had trouble fitting the whole canvas on without blurring with the camera I was using.
